'THE DAILY SHOW' Brings Jordan Klepper on as 'NEWS TEAM' Correspondent

Jordan Klepper has been tapped by Comedy Central's Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" to join fellow correspondents Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, Aasif Mandvi and Jessica Williams on "The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!" Klepper's first appearance on the show, reporting "live" from Ukraine, is scheduled to air tonight, March 3 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Klepper has been a regular performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City for three years and has written and appeared in comedy shorts for UCB Comedy. He has had multiple long-running shows at UCB, several with his wife and frequent collaborator, Laura Grey. "Klepper & Grey" co-created and co-starred in the UCB Comedy-produced pilot presentation "Engaged," which was recently featured at the New York Television Festival, and the "Engaged" web series is currently running online. "Klepper & Grey" also wrote and starred in the short film "TMI," which was a featured short at Slamdance in 2012, and their newest short, "Peepers," will be premiering this month at SXSW.

Klepper is from Kalamazoo, Michigan and prior to his time at UCB New York, he spent time training and performing in Chicago at Improv Olympic and The Second City. While in Chicago he was a writer/correspondent for the Big Ten Network's "Friday Night Tailgate." Also while in Chicago he co-created and co-starred in a long running hit iO sketch-show "Steve and Jordan, Respectively," which The Chicago Tribune called "among the best sketch shows in Chicago." Klepper is repped by Kirsten Ames Management and Fred Hashagen at Paradigm.

"The Daily Show" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. and repeats at 1:00 a.m. the same night and at 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. the following day (all times ET/PT).
