From today, October 24th, to December 2nd, Sony Square NYC will be featuring two highly-immersive 'escape game' experiences dedicated to two hit NBC series from Sony Pictures Television, THE BLACKLIST and Timeless.

The escape games, created in conjunction with Escape Entertainment, allow each participant to "step inside" the worlds of Timeless and THE BLACKLIST as if they are one of the shows' characters. Upon entering either "The Blacklist Box," the FBI's high-security holding cell, or the "Timeless Lifeboat," Mason Industry's first generation time machine, 2-4 participants at a time are invited to become part of a dedicated program story line by testing their wits and teamwork skills in trying to solve a critical mission within 10 minutes by finding solutions to vexing problems.

Both escape games will utilize select Sony products to enhance the user experience. MESH tags will be integrated into various objects that visitors will manipulate to solve puzzles. Two products from Life Space UX will be featured: the Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector, which is capable of throwing a 22" to 80" image onto walls, tables, or any other adjacent surface; and the LED Bulb Speaker, which creates a spectrum of light and sound. Additionally, both experiences will feature Sony headphones and tablets.

Participants can choose to participate in either or both of THE BLACKLIST or Timeless escape games. Both are free and open to the public.

"We are thrilled to offer these fun and exciting escape games to Sony Square NYC visitors. This interactive exhibit showcases an amazing integration of Sony's entertainment properties with its products, offering a unique and engaging experience that only Sony can deliver," said Steven Fuld, Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing, Sony Corporation of America.

"The dynamic and layered storytelling that compels viewers of both THE BLACKLIST and Timeless to tune in each week was the inspiration for the Escape Games, which will both challenge and entertain, while also giving visitors the opportunity to experience Sony's content and technology in a way that will provide new insight into the series and characters," said Chris Van Amburg, Senior Vice President, Franchise Marketing, Sony Pictures Television.

Sony Square NYC is located at 25 Madison Avenue and is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. To sign up for THE BLACKLIST or Timeless escape games in advance of a visit, go to www.sony.com/squarenyc.
