'THAT 80S TIME TRAVEL MOVIE' Parody to Return to The PIT, 2/6 & 13

After a sold out Fall run, The Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT) and Ronny Pascale are thrilled to announce additional dates for their co-production of That 80s Time Travel Movie: An UNAUTHORIZED! Musical Parody, written by the team of Christopher W. Barnes (Book and Lyrics) and Ryan Mercy (Music).

That 80s Time Travel Movie: An UNAUTHORIZED! Musical Parody includes everything you know and love about one of the biggest movies of all time. But now you get to experience the special effects presented hilariously live on stage! You'll see Marty and Doc fight to restore the space-time continuum, but this time they'll be saving the day while delivering non-stop laughs and singing stuck-in-your-head-for-a-week toe-tapping songs.

Like the full-size Delorean that breaks apart, dances, and sings, That 80s Time Travel Movie: An Unauthorized! Musical Parody is full of surprises that will constantly leave you on the edge of your seat!

THAT 80'S TIME TRAVEL MOVIE was the first production written for UNAUTHORIZED! Each new movie to be parodied in UNAUTHORIZED! is voted on by the audience, and written, cast, staged, choreographed and rehearsed in one month. The UNAUTHORIZED! team produces out-of-this-world-unbelievable fully-realized two act musical parodies of beloved movies in about a month. If the show is very well received, like That 80s Time Travel Movie, it is further developed and put up for more performances on the Striker stage at The PIT.

In addition to That 80s Time Travel Movie, the UNAUTHORIZED! Musical Parody team has also presented Steel Petunias and Ghostblasters, both coming back to The PIT's Striker stage soon as well.

The cast of That 80s Time Travel Movie features Matt Rogers as Marty, Pat Swearingen as Doc, Kathleen Armenti as Lorraine, Nikita Burdein as George, Stephanie Holmes as Biff, and Julie Feltman as Jennifer. Additional cast includes Adam Chisnall, Morgan Ferretti, Jane Kehoe, Aubrey Kyburz, Rory Scholl, Kevin Sean, Adrian Sexton, and Daniel Yawitz.
