TBS is April's No. 1 Cable Network in Adults 18-49

Continuing its successful run, TBS ranked as basic cable's #1 network among adults 18-49 in primetime for the month of April.

TBS's hit original sitcom Men at Work has garnered 1.7 million viewers in Live+3 for last Thursday's episode, along with 1.0 million adults 18-49 and 556,000 adults 18-34. Meanwhile the April 11 episode topped out at 2.2 million viewers in final Live + 7 delivery, with 1.3 million adults 18-49 and 708,000 adults 18-34.

Last Tuesday's episode of Who Gets the Last Laugh? has averaged 1.8 million viewers in Live + 3 (+12% vs. the prior week). In the demos, the show has scored 1.2 million adults 18-49 (+22% vs. the prior week) and 441,000 adults 18-34.

The Big Bang Theory on TBS ranked as basic cable's #1 sitcom in April among all key adult demos. For the last week of April Big Bang Theory took 18 of the top 20 sitcom telecasts among total viewers and 19 of the top 20 telecasts among adults 18-49.

Adult Swim
Adult Swim's Total Day performance ranked #1 among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24, 18-34, & 18-49 on basic cable across the entire month of April 2013. Compared to April 2012, Total Day delivery grew with adults 18-24 by 19%, adults 18-34 by 11%, adults 18-49 by 9%, men 18-24 by 23%, men 18-34 by 14% and men 18-49 by 10%.

In Prime Time, Adult Swim ranked #1 among basic cable networks delivery of adults 18-34. Compared to April 2012, Prime delivery increased with adults 18-24 by 35%, adults 18-34 by 25%, adults 18-49 by 18%, men 18-24 by 58%, men 18-34 by 38% and men 18-49 by 25%.

Premiere episodes of original series Loiter Squad (Sunday, 12 a.m.) grew by an impressive double digits across the board vs. the same time period year ago.

Saturday's Toonami block premiere episodes of Bleach, Naruto, Soul Eater and Tenchi Muyo! GXP earned mostly double-digit increases across the board vs. the same time period year ago.

The Saturday and Sunday premiere episodes of The Cleveland Show (10:30 p.m.) earned mostly double-digit increases across key adults and men vs. the same time period year ago.

Adult Swim's programming accounted for 26 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable for the month with adults 18-34 and 14 of the top 50 telecasts with men 18-34, both more than any other network.

TNT
Driven by the success of the NBA Playoffs and original series like the hit Dallas, TNT ranked as basic cable's #1 network in total day delivery of adults 25-54 in April. For the final week of the month, basketball coverage helped TNT rank as basic cable's #1 network in primetime delivery of all key adult demos, as well as total viewers.

Through this past Sunday, the NBA Playoffs on TNT have scored a strong 2.1 U.S. HH rating, with an average delivery of 3.2 million total viewers.

The April 8 episodes of Dallas scored a final tally of 3.4 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery, with 1.5 million adults 25-54 and 1.3 million adults 18-49. With one week of Live + 7 data remaining, Dallas has averaged 3.8 million viewers, 1.6 million adults 25-54 and 1.4 million adults 18-49.

Cartoon Network
The highly anticipated series premiere episode of Teen Titans Go! was #1 in its time period with kids 2-11 and 6-11, including all key boy demos, with double-digit growth among all key kids and boy demos vs. the same time period year ago.

Across April 2013, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network for Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 6-11 and 9-14; as well as, #1 in Total Day with boys 9-14.

Cartoon Network was the #1 destination for all key boys among all TV on Monday and Thursday Night (7-9 p.m.) and #1 for boys 9-14 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Night.

Cartoon Network's original animated series, Regular Show was the #1 program on Mondays with boys 2-11 and boys 6-11 on all TV and boys 9-14 on basic cable. Monday night premiere episodes of Adventure Time, Regular Show and MAD all ranked #1 in their respective time periods with all key boys.

The original sketch-comedy series Incredible Crew (8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time periods with all key boy demos, with premieres growing ratings with kids 6-11/9-14 and boys 2-11/6-11.

Saturday Morning premiere episodes of Beyblade: Metal Fury (8 a.m.) and Pokemon BW: Adventures in Unova (8:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in their respective time periods with boys 9-14.

truTV
Three truTV hits turned in strong performances in April:

Lizard Lick Towing (Mondays at 10 p.m.) drew more than 2.3 million viewers in April, with 1.3 million adults 18-49 and 680,000 men 18-49. The series ranked as one of basic cable's Top 5 programs in the timeslot with those three groups, as well as with adults 18-34. It also more than doubled the timeslot averages for such competitors as History, Discovery and Comedy Central. And compared to the same timeslot last April, Lizard Lick Towing scored double-digit growth across the board.

Hardcore Pawn (Tuesdays at 9 p.m.) landed 2.7 million viewers in April, including 1.3 million adults 18-49 and 667,000 men 18-49. The show ranked as one of basic cable's Top 3 programs in the timeslot with adults 18-34 and total viewers and among the Top 5 with adults 18-49 and key male demos. Hardcore Pawn charted outstanding growth for its timeslot, as well, including triple-digit boosts among total viewers and key adults.

Storage Hunters (Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m.) attracted 2.1 million viewers, 1 million adults 18-49 and 474,000 men 18-49, ranking among basic cable's Top 5 programs in the timeslot in the latter demo. The show was also one of the basic cable's Top 5 entertainment programs in the timeslot with total viewers. For the entire second season, Storage Hunters averaged 1.9 million viewers, up 79% compared to the first season. The season average among adults 18-49 (899,000) grew +88% over the first season.

NBA TV
NBA TV's playoff telecast featuring the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat on Tuesday, April 23, averaged 764,000 total viewers to become the network's third most-viewed playoff telecast of all time.
