T. Schreiber Studio's 48th Anniversary Gala to Celebrate Terry Schreiber's 80th Year

The T. Schreiber Studio for Theatre & Film, one of the country's foremost professional actor training and performance programs, will celebrate its 48th Anniversary on Monday, March 27th, 2017. The event will also be in celebration of Terry Schreiber's 80th Year.

The evening will benefit T. Schreiber's professional training program and mission to bring artists and audiences together to experience the power of accessible and relevant live theatre. It will feature cocktails, dinner, an auction and entertainment by Broadway performers and studio alumni.

"I am so proud to have provided a home for the past 48 years to actors, many of whom have gone on to successful careers in theatre, film and television. It is an honor to have played a part in their creative journey," Terry Schreiber said.

This year, a crew of distinguished studio alumni and friends will salute Terry's contributions to the NYC theatre community and celebrate his 80th year. Terry's lifetime commitment to training actors and connecting with the community through the theatre have impacted countless actors, directors, playwrights, designers and audiences.

Past honorees at the T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre's gala include Edward Norton, Judith Light, Cynthia Nixon, Wendy Wasserstein, Marian Seldes, Gerald Schoenfeld, Betty Buckley, Amy Ryan, John Patrick Shanley, Anne Jackson, Eli Wallach, and Roger Berlind, among others.

T. Schreiber Studio for Theatre and Film, established in 1969, provides a comprehensive training program for actors, many of who have gone on to successful careers. One of the few surviving members of New York City's original Off-Off Broadway movement, T. Schreiber Theatre remains dedicated to making the unique experience of live theatre available to everyone at an affordable price.
