The feuding fairies and merry mechanicals at Synetic Theater have been invited by Instituto Chihuahuense de La Cultura, headed by Fermin Gutierrez Galindo, to perform at the 10th edition of Festival Internacional. The company's award-winning wordless Shakespeare production will be performed at Teatro De Los Heros in Chihuahua on August 13 at 8 pm and at Teatro Victor Hugo Rascon Banda in Juarez on August 15 at 7 pm.

In this fanciful production, Synetic's A Midsummer Night's Dream incorporates all the traditional aspects of a Shakespeare romantic comedy, including multiple love stories, surprising plot twists, and a wedding. Yet what makes Synetic's production especially unique is the fact that this busy plot is clearly relayed to audiences in complete silence. With Synetic's trademark use of movement and connected theatrical expression A Midsummer Night's Dream, is a magical show that conveys Shakespeare's story to audience members of all languages and nationalities.

The original production of A Midsummer Night's Dream was nominated for nine Helen Hayes Awards in 2010, including Outstanding Lighting Design: Andrew F. Griffin, Outstanding Sound Design: Konstantine Lortkipanidze, Outstanding Costume Design: Anastasia R. Simes, Outstanding Choreography: Irina Tsikurishvili, Outstanding Supporting Actor, Resident Play: Irakli Kavsadze, Outstanding Supporting Actor, Resident Play: Alex Mills, Outstanding Director, Resident Play: Paata Tsikurishvili, and Outstanding Resident Play. A Midsummer Night's Dream received the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Ensemble, Resident Play.

A Midsummer Night's Dream is directed by Paata Tsikurishvili and choreographed by Irina Tsikurishvili with Set, Costumes and Properties design by Anastasia R. Simes, Lighting Design by Andrew F. Griffin, Sound Creative by Irakli Kavsadze, Original Music by Konstantine Lortkipanidze and Fight Choreography by Ben Cunis.

A Midsummer Night's Dream will will be performed at Teatro De Los Heros in Chihuahua on August 13 at 8 pm and at Teatro Victor Hugo Rascon Banda in Juarez on August 15 at 7 pm.

This A Midsummer Night's Dream tourstars Irina Tsikurishvili, Emily Berry, Scott Brown, Dallas Tolentino, Chris Galindo, Kathy Gordon, Pasquale Guiducci, I­­rakli Kavsadze, Irina Kavsadze, Katie Maguire, Janine Baumgardner, Alex Mills, Jodi Neihoff, Peter Pereya,Vato Tsikurishvili and Emily Whitworth.

The production manager is Ann Allan, the Stage Manager is Marley Giggey with Sound by Thomas Sowers and Wardrobe by Emily Price.
