Sydney Theatre Company is set to present MONEY SHOTS from 30 September - 15 October 2011.

Opening Night: Wednesday 5 October 2011 at8.15pm Wharf 2, Sydney Theatre Company, Pier 4, Hickson Road, Walsh Bay

As part of Next Stage, Sydney Theatre Company presents an evening comprised of five short new works, all on the theme of money, from a diverse range of emerging writers and theatre makers: Angus Cerini, Tahli Corin, Duncan Graham, Rita Kalnejais and Zoe Pepper. Performances are at Wharf 2 from 30 September, opening on Wednesday 5 October, 2011.

Performed by The Residents, directed by STC's Richard Wherrett Fellow Sarah Giles and designed by Resident Designer Alice Babidge, the evening is a smorgasbord of new theatrical talent, intended to give a taste of the writers and theatre makers tipped for the top.

The Arcade
Tahli Corin's coming-of-age story is set in an early 80's amusement arcade where the end of an era is being heralded by a waning interest in pinball and a wakening interest in love.

Drill Down
Angus Cerini asks if it is possible to cost a human life in his dark, dreamlike play about mortality and revenge.

No Exit From the Roof
An affianced couple who are confronted with financial peril watch their future flutter away from them.

Fiddler's Coin
This is a comic work about a family financially divided which has been devised by director Zoe Pepper in collaboration with members of The Residents.

How To Get Very Clean
Rita Kalnejais' play flings two very different characters together in the most excruciatingly intimate of settings, in order to explore the slippery connections between grief, obligation and desire.

Next Stage, Sydney Theatre Company's artform development strand presented in Wharf 2 throughout 2011, features the work of emerging artists and cross-artform collaborations,
offering distinctly different experiences to the Company's Main Stage program.
