SubCulture has announced two upcoming performances. This Friday, April 18, they will host Marco Benevento, and next Friday, April 25, Jon B. will be performing.

Marco Benevento brings piano to rock and rock to piano; weaving jazz, jam, and indie influences throughout. He composes and collaborates with some of the best in the industry, whether in studio, in production, or in performance. Benevento has opened for Ben Folds and Rubblebucket, performed at Bonnaroo, and recorded with members from Pearl Jam, Ween, Phish, and many others. For two performances at SubCulture, Marco sits at the Steinway for a solo piano presentation to satiate every listener's musical needs.

Grammy-nominated musician and songwriter Jon B has had quite a multifaceted career. He signed to Edmonds Record Group by Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and his wife, Tracey, shortly after graduating high school, producing and performing on several gold and platinum records ever since. His debut album, Bonafide, went platinum, and he was nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for the single, "Someone to Love." He collaborated with legendary artists in the R&B and Hip-Hop world including Tupac Shakur, Jay Z, and Faith Evans, and wrote and produced for Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, and Toni Braxton. He's recorded and released eight albums since 1995, and recently started his own record label, Vibezelect Inc.
