Hitfix reports that director Steven Spielberg may return to helm the upcoming sequel to JURASSIC PARK. According to the report, things seem to be heating up on production of the film as Universal, the studio behind the project, has reserved Raleigh Studios in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from April through November.

With the fourth installment of "Jurassic Park" targeting a Summer 2014 release, the studio is well into preparations on the project with Production Offices open and key staff and cast currently being hired. Yet the identity of the director is reportedly being kept top secret - even from much of the crew.

Spielberg recently committed to helming "Robopocalypse," however that project was put on hold in January. Jurassic's producer Frank Marshall has promised to reveal updates on the project soon, probably closer to the release of "Jurassic Park 3D" in cinemas in three weeks.
