Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon, the world's longest running musical revue, will be featured on "Good Morning America" (GMA) when they televise live from San Francisco's Union Square on Thursday, December 3, 2009 as part of the ABC network holiday promotion "Sam Champion Lights Up America." The live broadcast, from 4 - 6 a.m. (PST), will be re-run locally at its regularly scheduled time of 7- 9 a.m. (PST). Bay Area residents are encouraged to be part of the national television broadcast and be in Union Square by 4 a.m. and say, "Good Morning America!"

Caitlin McGinty, wearing the San Francisco Skyline Hat, and several Beach Blanket Babylon cast members - in costume - will sing "San Francisco." The Skyline Hat is 11'4" tall, 10' wide and 4'4" deep and features the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, the Ferry Building, SF MOMA, a cable car and other city landmarks.

The live remote in Union Square will coincide with the opening of San Francisco's holiday window at GMA's New York studio in Times Square. Joe D'Alessandro, president and CEO of the SFCVB will unveil San Francisco's window design to GMA's morning anchor team, Diane Sawyer, Robin Roberts and Chris Cuomo. Times Square attracts more than 450,000 visitors per day during the holiday season and GMA's holiday windows have become a "must-see" visitor attraction.

Beach Blanket Babylon welcomes this holiday season with special performances featuring a chorus line of tap dancing Christmas trees, special parodies of traditional Christmas carols and a gigantic Yuletide hat now through Thursday, December 31. The show will also ring in the new decade with two special New Year's Eve performances. Guests attending the 7 and 10:15 p.m. shows will experience a pastiche of the best and worst of 2009 and treated to champagne and Godiva Chocolate.

Snow White continues her fast-paced musical journey around the world in search of her "Prince Charming" at Club Fugazi in San Francisco's North Beach. Along the way she encounters a star-studded, ever-changing line-up of hilarious pop-culture characters along the way, including President Barack & Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Sarah Palin, Levi Johnston, Britney Spears, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and her husband Bill, Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift & Kanye West, Chaz (Chastity) Bono and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
