Stage Star Sarah Amenugal Hosts DreamHonor Children's Theatre Class Today

Broadway Actress, Sarah Amenugal, most recently seen on Broadway in West Side Story as Maria, has joined the exciting new Arts Education Company, DreamHonor. DreamHonor is an Arts Education Hub, a collective extraordinary educators who inspire artists to grow and develop in a safe, ego-free environment.

Sarah has come on-board as a Children's Theatre Educator teaching two classes for children ages 1-12, Baby's Day on Broadway: A Modern Day Mommy/Daddy & Me and Rising Stars. As an inaugural event for the company She will lead Children Giving to Children: A FREE Children's Theatre Charity Event today, September 15th at Shelter Studios, located at 244 W. 54th Street, 12th Floor: Theatre 54. The event, for Tadpoles, Tikes & Teeny Boppers Ages 1-12 will be filled with theatre games, dancing and music! Part of DreamHonor's mission is to help those less fortunate, so we ask that all participants bring an item of non-perishable food that will be donated to City Harvest.

Sarah Amengual was last seen on Broadway as Maria in West Side Story. She graduated from the University of Miami with a BFA in Acting. Favorite credits include: Eponine in "Les Miserables", Nina in "In the Heights" and Natalie in "Next to Normal" (Broadway World Award Winner). She has taught and directed all over NYC and is passionate about education and the arts.
