The St. James Studio is delighted to host four talented and creative female jazz stylists over four Saturdays in May and June 2014, presented by JBGB Events. Between them they will treat audiences to a wealth of musical styles such as jazz and tango with a Parisian twist; smooth and sophisticated jazz, folk and blues; Brazilian bossa nova and swinging, finger clicking jazz.

She brings a blend of Gallic charm and sophistication to her performances of Parisian style jazz and tango. With elegant vocals and emotional punch, Gabrielle puts a fresh spin on iconic chansons by Edith Piaf, Michel Legrand, Serge Gainsbourg and Astor Piazolla.

Gabrielle reached the final of French Pop Idol in 2003 and went on to train at the Guildhall School of Music. In 2011 Gabrielle released a well acclaimed debut jazz album and in 2012 completed a wide-scale UK tour.
