Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello of EW.com's The Ausiello Files has revealed details of Idina Menzel's GLEE role and the boyfriend of Kurt in the upcoming installment of the hit comedy.

Writes Ausiello on the idea of Menzel's character turning out to be Rachel's (Lea Michele) mother: "Series creator Ryan Murphy, who acknowledges that the two share an almost spooky resemblance, isn't ruling out such a twist. At least not completely."

Still, Murphy acknowledges: "I don't think I'll do that...We wrote her part as a sort of Faye Dunaway of Network. She's the female coach of Vocal Adrenaline. That's what she plays."

Menzel is scheduled to appear on the first episode of the new installment of GLEE airing Tuesday, April 13 at 9pm, and then will return again for the season finale for the regional showdown with New Directions.

As for Kurt's boyfriend, Ausiello reveals, "Rumor has it he'll be *n *h* *o***a** *e**."

Menzel's confirmed her involvement with GLEE severAl Weeks ago on her official website, stating:"Get ready to see Idina on a TV near you this spring! Idina is officially confirmed to appear on the hit FOX television series GLEE! Glee returns to FOX with new episodes in April, however we don't have her guest appearance air dates at this time. Look for more details coming soon."

Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.
