Memories aren't always reliable as three high school buddies try to reconnect after a high school reunion. The complex nature of male friendship is explored in South Coast Repertory's world premiere of Reunion by Gregory S Moss. The show runs March 9-30, on the Julianne Argyros Stage. Adrienne Campbell-Holt directs. Tickets are available online: www.scr.org.

It's been 25 years since three men last saw each other at their graduation party; and now, after their class reunion it's time to get wasted and relive the fun. Reverting back to their childhood names-Maxie, Petie, Mitchie-these three friends fall back into their old ways as they reminisce over girls and misadventures. As their whirlwind of fun and games takes a turn, they realize how painful the past can be and how hard apologies come.

When writing Reunion, Gregory S Moss wanted to look at the fluidity of friendship. "It was a desire to explore how friendships based in youth and high school evolves over time when we revisit them." He hopes audiences look back and "reflect on their own high school connections and how those friendships helped shape them."

Gregory S Moss is a writer, performer and educator from Newburyport, MA. His work has been seen at La Comédie Française, The A.R.T., Guthrie Theater, Playwrights Horizons, Steppenwolf Garage and New York Theatre Workshop. Moss is a 2012 MacDowell Fellow, a Playwrights Center Core Member, and the recipient of a 2010-2011 Jerome Fellowship and a 2011-2012 McKnight Fellowship. Reunion was presented at the 2013 Pacific Playwrights Festival and received great acclaim from PPF audiences.
