ALWAYS SHINE, starring Mackenzie Davis and Caitlin FitzGerald, directed by Sophia Takal and written by Lawrence Michael Levine, will make its World Premiere at this year's Tribeca Film Festival as part of the US Narrative Competition.

Longtime friends Anna (Mackenzie Davis, "Halt and Catch Fire") and Beth (Caitlin FitzGerald, "Masters of Sex"), both actresses with varying degrees of success, take a trip from Los Angeles to Big Sur to reconnect for a weekend vacation after years of competition and suppressed jealousies. Once alone, however, the two women's deep-seated resentments begin to arise, causing them to lose grasp on the nature of their friendship as well as their own identities in this twisty psychological drama about obsession, fame and femininity.
