Sondheim-Signed COMPANY Doc DVD Among Incentives For New Pennebaker Kickstarter

Sondheim-Signed COMPANY Doc DVD Among Incentives For New Pennebaker KickstarterAcclaimed director and documentarian D.A. Pennebaker has launched a new crowd-sourcing initiative to fund his forthcoming animal-focused feature film documentary UNLOCKING THE CAGE and some very special musical mementos are among the incentives being offered to funders and supporters of the endeavor - including an item personally signed by Stephen Sondheim.

Besides rare Bob Dylan posters, David Bowie memorabilia and much more, Pennebaker offers fans the chance to own a signed copy of his legendary ORIGINAL CAST ALBUM: COMPANY documentary on DVD, signed by Pennebaker and Stephen Sondheim himself.

The official description of the Kickstarter campaign for UNLOCKING THE CAGE is as follows: "Many of you know our films Dont Look Back with Bob Dylan, The War Room chronicling Clinton's 1992 Presidential campaign, and shot during the Internet's first boom and bust. These are stories about passionate people who took risks that changed history. We believe our new film, Unlocking the Cage, is just such a story. For the past two years we have been following an animal rights lawyer, Steve Wise, who is attempting to break down the legal wall that separates animals from humans."

Check out the official Kickstarter page for D.A. Pennebaker's UNLOCKING THE CAGE at the official site here.
