Sirius Satellite Radio will celebrate one of Broadway's most beloved stars with a Chita Rivera Weekend on its commercial-free 'Broadway's Best' Channel 77 - this Friday, December 9th through Sunday, December 11th. Sirius' Chita Rivera Weekend will coincide with the Broadway opening night of Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life at the Schoenfeld Theatre on Sunday, December 11th).

Sirius will bring listeners Rivera's performances with around-the-clock programming all weekend long that will include tracks from Chicago, Nine, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Bye Bye Birdie, and West Side Story.

Rivera herself will also be the special in-studio guest on Seth Rudetsky's Studio A Cabaret program; she will reflect on her career and new Broadway show in the interview. Seth Rudetsky's Studio A Cabaret will air at the following times: Friday at 9 p.m. ET; Saturday at Midnight ET; and Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.

Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life is a musical retrospective celebrating the life and 50-year career the star; it is written by four-time Tony Award-winner Terrence McNally; with direction and choreography by Graciela Daniele; and features musical concepts, arrangements and direction by Mark Hummel.
