Coming up this week, 54 BELOW, the performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond:

Sierra Boggess, December 2, 4 & 5 at 7PM, December 6 & 7 at 8PM:
Back by popular demand! Broadway knows her as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera and as aspiring opera star Sharon Graham in Master Class. London knows her for her Olivier Award-nominated performance in Love Never Dies. Now, 54 Below audiences will see a brand new side of this Drama Desk-nominated actress when she makes her official cabaret debut! One of Broadways most promising new talents, expect a range of tunes from songwriters both new and old, and vocals that stretch from the sublime to the divine. Sierra's CD will be available exclusively at her performances at 54 Below starting Wednesday, December 4th. She will be signing copies of her CD following the performances on the 4th, 5th and 6th. The CD's official release date is December 10th. $45-55 cover charge for 7PM shows and $50-60 cover charge for 8PM shows. $25 food & beverage minimum.

JOHN Arthur GreenE & FRIENDS SING FOR MUSIC FOR AUTISM, December 2 at 9:30PM:
John Arthur Greene (West Side Story, Matilda) & his Broadway pals ring in the holiday season with a dazzling concert featuring some of your favorite tunes from the Great White Way. Greene, Music for Autism's spotlight artist of the year, in thrilled to draw attention to this worthy cause. Scheduled to appear: Marisa Kennedy (Matilda), Lesli Margherita (Matilda), MacKenzie Grace Mauzy (Tale of Two Cities, Next to Normal, Into the Woods film), Jeremy Schonfeld, Jason Michael Snow (Book of Mormon), Laura Dreyfuss & Leigh Ann Larkin. $40-50 cover charge. $25 food & beverage minimum.

THE CALLBACK, December 2 at 11:30PM:
Finalists will have ten minutes to perform a mini-cabaret, and the ultimate winner, chosen by a panel of Broadway guest judges, will win their own engagement at 54 Below. No cover charge. Two drink minimum.

Katie Thompson, December 3 at 7PM:
After spending the year "bringing down the house" in Chicago (Variety) and being a "glorious, full-blooded voice" in Giant at The Public Theater (Wall Street Journal), KT sets her sights on Christmas, with a night of carols re-written, standards re-imagined, and New York's finest, funniest voices. Having penned three albums and two-and-a-half musicals, this "rich-voiced powerhouse" (Los Angeles Times) promises to "put the mayhem back in Bethlehem" (Katie Thompson) at 54 Below. Also starring Erin Quill (Avenue Q, The Mikado Project) and Joel Waggoner (Southern Comfort). Zina Goldrich & Marcy Heisler, December 3 at 9:30PM:
Join award-winning songwriters Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler ("Taylor the Latte Boy", "Alto's Lament", Ever After) as they bring their vivacious, eclectic, romantic, and seriously funny songbook to 54 Below. Featuring David Beach, Emily Skinner, Scott Coulter, Michael Croiter, Mary Ann McSweeney, and some surprise Broadway friends, this one-night only, all-original celebration kicks off the holiday season with old favorites, new debuts, and sneak peeks at upcoming projects. $30-40 cover charge. $25 food & beverage minimum.

LATE NIGHT: BACKSTAGE, December 3 at 11PM:
Each week, Broadway cast members and audiences alike gather to mix and mingle at 54 Below, Broadway's most intimate haunt, located in the heart of the theatre district. Musical Director Brad Simmons keeps the house jumping from the piano, while host Susie Mosher (the love child of Joanne Worley & Paul Lynde) guides the crowd through an evening of music, mayhem and full throttle belting, with special guests from Broadway and beyond dropping in to perform. NPR had this to say: "The best thing happening right now might just be the weekly Backstage. Hosted by the ridiculously funny Susie Mosher and pianist Brad Simmons who clearly is the man, it's two feel-good hours among New York's theater people, who seem like they're having a really fine time. Broadway's Mandy Gonzalez, star of Wicked, In the Heights, Lennon and more, invites you to join her for an unforgettable evening of great music and hilarity, all revolving around love and its crazy themes and variations. Expect hit tunes like Total Eclipse of the Heart, Breathe (and yes, Defying Gravity!) as well as a catalogue of songs from musical greats like Elvis, Edie, Liza, Lennon, Aretha, Tina and a whole host of others. $25-35 cover charge. $25 foo d& beverage minimum.

HAUS OF MIMOSA'S HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR ON ICE, December 4 at 11:30PM:

Now, 54 Below proudly presents his swinging cabaret debut! Expect tunes that trace his brilliant stage career, including special personal favorites from shows that include Grand Hotel, Merrily, Sweeney Todd, The Big Knife and The Dean Martin Show, among many others. FATE, FURY, & MUSICAL THEATRE, December 5 at 11:30PM:
Elizabeth Wasser, in her 54 Below debut, stars in Fate, Fury, and Musical Theatre. In a panic, a young actor drives from her house in the suburbs of New York until she can't drive anymore. On the beach at the very tip of Long Island, the Three Fates of ancient mythology, androgynous and fabulous, wash onto the shore like Venus on the foam and lead the young woman on a journey of self discovery and showtunes. $15 cover charge. Two drink minimum.

DANIEL MATÉ & FRIENDS, December 6 at 11PM:
Join 2013 Kleban Award-winning songwriter Daniel Maté and a group of top-notch singing actors for an evening of eclectic, insightful, and thoroughly contagious theater songs. With astonishing lyrical flair and musical influences ranging from Cole Porter to Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan to Wu-Tang Clan, Maté's acclaimed and genre-hopping songs have been heralded by theater veterans and a new generation of audiences alike. 54 Sings, our new series, celebrates some of our favorite musicals. Re-live the hit songs from these groundbreaking shows, performed by some of the best in the biz-sometimes by the very voices for whom they were written! HIT LIST, December 8 at 11:30PM:
Jeremy Jordan, Krysta Rodriguez, Andy Mientus, Carrie Manolakos and more will star in HIT LIST at 54 Below. The second season of NBC's Smash featured a fictional new Broadway musical called HIT LIST, written by characters played by Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, The Last 5 Years) and Andy Mientus (Carrie, Spring Awakening), and starring Krysta Rodriguez (First Date,The Addams Family). The fictional musical opened at Manhattan Theatre Workshop and then transferred to Broadway, opening at the Barrymore Theatre and winning seven Tony Awards. HIT LISTthe musical will receive its actual world premiere performance at 54 Below. HIT LIST, a modern fable about identity and the price of fame, tells the tragic love story of a wannabe pop singer who transforms herself to become a star and the hidden songwriter she uses to get there - but at what cost? HIT LIST will be presented by Julia Brownell, Joshua Safran and Jennifer Ashley Tepper. Benjamin Rauhala is musical director. The concerts will feature orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, and performances from Molly Hager, Eric Michael Krop, Julia Mattison, and Eric William Morris. The band will include Rauhala, Rosen, Shannon Ford, Alisa Horn, Dennis Michael Keefe, and Hiroko Taguchi. The score of HIT LIST was written by Drew Gasparini, Joe Iconis, Andrew McMahon, Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman, and Lucie Silvas. The shows will include some additional songs from these composers that were intended for HIT LIST but never made it to air, and also special appearances by several of HIT LIST's composers and additional performers to be announced at a later date. $75 cover charge. $25 food & beverage minimum.
