Sean Hayes made his New York stage debut in DAMN YANKEES at City Center Encores, though he's likely best known to theatre audiences for starring opposite Kristin Chenoweth in the recent revival of PROMISES, PROMISES. His films include The Bucket List, Pieces of April, The cat in the Hat (as the voice of the Fish), Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, and Cats and Dogs (as the voice of Mr. Tinkles). He has won four Screen Actors Guild Awards, a TV Guide Award and an American Comedy Award. Hayes won an Emmy (and was nominated six times) for his portrayal of Jack on Will & Grace. He starred as Jerry Lewis in the television movie "Martin & Lewis."

Today, Variety reports that the actor will have another credit to add to his resume - Larry in "The Three Stooges".

"The Three Stooges" was a hugely successful franchise of shorts, television episodes, and feature-length films beginning in the 1930s with lasting success even through today. The stooges originally consisted of Moe Howard, his brother Shemp (and later Curly), and Larry Fine.

Will Sasso had reportedly been cast as Curly in the upcoming Farrelly brothers film based on the world-famous slapstick TV series, and although it was previously rumored that Hank Azaria was a main contender to play Moe, official word has not yet been released from the production.
