Scenic Painting Workshop to Be Held at Imagination Theater in August

Imagination Theater is pleased to announce a Scenic Painting Workshop for Adults and Children ages 10+ held at the theater in August. This four session workshop will be held on Tuesday, August 4, Thursday, August 6, Thursday, August 20, and Thursday, August 27. All sessions are from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and participants must attend all sessions.

The classes will be taught by Peter Wolfe, an Architect and experienced local scene designer and director. Karen Wolfe will be assisting with the class. Karen is an accomplished painter and paper-mache artist.

Activities will include selection of media, colors, and materials, the use of brushes, rollers, and air-brushes in scene painting, setting up large painting projects for set walls and backdrops, the use of computers and projectors in preparing scenic art, and planning set painting projects. The sessions will be hands-on-everyone will paint.
