Saturday Roundup: This Week on BroadwayWorld
From actors reprising roles (Rob McClure will bring CHAPLIN to Broadway and Jeff Goldblum will lead SEMINAR in LA) to the premiere of new works (Edie Falco will headline THE MADRID for MTC), it was a big week for casting announcements. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Richard Kind and Rebecca Romijn headline the Hollywood Bowl's THE PRODUCERS; Boyd Gaines, Richard Thomas and more are set for MTC's AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE on Broadway; Malcolm Gets, Jessica Phillips, Wesley Taylor and more have joined Transport Group's BABY benefit concert; and Teal Wicks and James Snyder are set to lead Goodspeed's CAROUSEL. But that's not all: Denis O'Hare has joined the cast of Shakespeare in the Park's INTO THE WOODS as the Baker, Ethan Hawke will lead Classic Stage Company's IVANOV, Kelli O'Hara will lead FAR FROM HEAVEN and Judith Ivey will lead THE GREAT GOD PAN at Playwrights Horizons, and Robin De Jesus has joined the cast of the Muny's ALADDIN as the title character alongside John Tartaglia as the Genie.
