CATCH ME IF YOU CAN announced that it will close September 4th. Tickets went on sale this week for KING LEAR and THE SUBMISSION. THE ROAD TO MECCA is set for a January opening, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR may move into the Neil Simon next Spring, and MAN AND BOY will begin a limited engagement this November, among others.

THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS began rehearsals - but not without a bit of controversy.
