From post-punk beginnings to melancholy daydreams, Son of Dov (Dennis King) is a singer/songwriter from New Jersey. His indie/folksy delivery brings to mind artists such as, Ryan Adams and Elliot Smith while crafting his own path at the same time. His first offering, "Gone to Seed EP", came about during the East Coast Sandy power outage. Dennis used his guitar to entertain the troops, while sitting in cold darkness. His alt-folk creations have a melancholy feel with light lingering in the distance. Gone to Seed (2013) is available as a download via noiestrade and bandcamp. A limited number of individual pressed CD's were available but has since sold out and thus spurred on a re-release with a second pressing to be available September 2013. Son of Dov has scheduled dates in NYC, Brooklyn and the mid-Atlantiic,northeast regions to support the EP.
