A Special Performance of SAM SIMON's THE ACTUAL DANCE will be presented at Marc A. Scorca Hall of the National Opera Center of America, 330 Seventh Avenue, NYC. Showtime: 4:00 p.m. $25 for two tickets.

For more than three years, Sam has been telling anyone who will listen - theaters, schools, medical institutions, religious organizations, philanthropies - how much he loves his wife of 50 years... and when he almost lost her.

"The words just poured out of me as if they were always meant to be on paper," is how Sam puts it. His story became the award-winning, long-running, celebrated and inspiring play, THE ACTUAL DANCE.

Sam Simon has become the definitive voice for the universal journey of the "caregiver." Standing-up and telling what it is like to walk with a loved one through the cycles of a devastating disease. Susan and Sam are still fighting the good fight, energized by how THE ACTUAL DANCE has made a difference in the lives of so many who were lucky enough to see the play that is now taking its place in the annals of theatrical works like WIT and Love Story.

"No better occasion than Valentine's Day" says the author and star who recently completed a Showcase appearance at the annual conference of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters. Sam, now represented by Producers, Inc., spent much of his life in the public eye - in the legal and political arena - now he is a familiar face in New York and across the country as a prominent actor.
