The National Theatre's award-winning production of War Horse is currently playing the New London Theatre in London as well as at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in New York for the American premiere, which opened April 14 and it is currently playing an open-ended run.

At the outbreak of World War One, Joey, young Albert's beloved horse, is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. He's soon caught up in enemy fire, and fate takes him on an extraordinary odyssey, serving on both sides before finding himself alone in no man's land. But Albert cannot forget Joey and, still not old enough to enlist, he embarks on a treacherous mission to find him and bring him home.

War Horse is the recipient of five 2011 Tony Awards, including Best Play. A Special Tony Award was given to Handspring Puppet Company for their integral work on the production. But what would happen if the puppets were replaced by Jimmy Fallon? Saturday Night Live found out - view the video!
