On today's digital #Ham4Ham, Hamilton's biographer himself, Ron Chernow, donned a revolutionary costume and performed a portion of the hit musical's opening number in tribute to HAMILTON creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and the Pulitzer Prize that he won for the production. Check out the cover below!

The #Ham4Ham show began as a whim of Lin-Manuel Miranda's on the first day of previews for the Broadway production of Hamilton. When he saw how many people had turned out for that day's lottery, Miranda decided to give the crowd a short, impromptu performance before the names were drawn, and thus #Ham4Ham was born. Miranda continued as host of the pre-show event through its many iterations, before turning the responsibility over to the production's current King George III, Rory O'Malley, when he departed the show this past summer.

"HAMILTON" has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lin Manuel Miranda, who also played the title role for a year on Broadway. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography byAndy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. "HAMILTON" is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography "Alexander Hamilton."
