Tony Nominee Rob McClure, currently starring on Broadway as Nick Bottom in Something Rotten, released a video today to honor and support the LGBTQ+ community in light of the recent Presidential election. The video features photos and video clips of LGBT couples and families, and is scored by "Try Everything," the Shakira song from the Disney movie Zootopia, which was lauded for its powerful message on systemic racism and equality.

Juxtaposed against the aforementioned clips and photos are statements from Donald Trump, showcasing the vast difference between his dangerous campaign rhetoric and the message of love that American citizens around the country are striving to uphold in the wake of his recent election win. Moreover, audio from President Obama's speech on the day that marriage equality was passed, when layered over a time-lapse video of the White House during that day-which ends with the White House lights projecting rainbow colors over the building-reminds us how much progress we have made and, like the video reminds us, "Trump won, but hate will lose."
