First Lady Michelle Obama presented the "Top Ten Fun Facts About Gardening" on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN last night, Tuesday, June 5. Mrs. Obama taped the appearance from the Map Room at the White House. View the appearance below!

Among the items she presented include number 7: "In his lifetime, the average American will eat half a radish"; number 6: "The largest zucchini ever grown contained a Starbucks"; and number 5: "Later this year, the Supreme Court will finally rule on 'tomato' vs. 'tomahto.'"

This is the First Lady's second appearance on the LATE SHOW. She last appeared on the program March 19, 2012. Mrs. Obama's Top Ten List focused on gardening, tied to her new book, American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America, which was released in late May. All author proceeds will benefit the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America's national parks.

Also featured on the LATE SHOW tonight was actor Neil Patrick Harris, star of the hit CBS comedy series "How I Met Your Mother" and host of "The 66th Annual Tony® Awards," actress Noomi Rapace and musical guest Alan Jackson.

The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
