Courtesy of Liza Minnelli's official website, BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at Mars Chocolate North America's new Snickers commercial starring Liza Minnelli and Aretha Franklin.  Entitled "Divas," the commercial was shot in January in Detroit and will begin airing on February 15, 2010. 

Liza Minnelli took her star turn as Sally Bowles in the 1972 film version of the Broadway musical Cabaret, earning her the Academy Award for Best Actress. She has appeared on Broadway in The Rink, The Act, Victor/Victoria, Chicago, and in the concerts Minnelli on Minnelli, Jule's Friends at the Palace and, most recently, Liza's...at the Palace!, which she has since toured and released on DVD. On television, Liza gained recognition wit Liza With A Z in 1972.  Additional concert tours and appearances include Liza Minnelli: At Carnegie Hall, Frank, Liza & Sammy: The Ultimate Event, Liza Live from Radio City Music Hall, and Liza's Back in 2002. She has a total of three Tony Awards, an Oscar, an Emmy Award, two Golden Globes and a Grammy Legend Award for her contributions and influence in the recording field, along with many other honors and awards.

The ultimate diva better known as "The Queen of Soul," Aretha Franklin is one of the most honored artists by the Grammy Awards, with 18 Grammys to date, which include the Living Legend Grammy and the Lifetime Achievement Grammy. She has scored a total of 20 #1 singles on the Billboard R&B Singles Chart, one of which also became her first #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100: "Respect" (1967). "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)" (1987), a duet with George Michael, became her second #1 on the latter chart. Since 1961, Franklin has scored a total of 45 "Top 40" hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 1987, Franklin became the first female artist to be entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
