STAGE TUBE: Christine Dwyer Performs 'So What' at BROADWAY SINGS P!NK

Broadway Sings, the concert series honoring pop stars with a Broadway twist, concluded its seventh installment on Sunday, January 25, at (le) Poisson Rouge. Some of Broadway's brightest talents sang completely new arrangements of the hits of pop superstar P!NK, accompanied by a 10-piece band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the singer's greatest songs. The all-star cast featured Gisela Adisa (Beautiful), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Kinky Boots), Colin Hanlon (Rent), Jessica Hendy (Aida, Cats), Eric Michael Krop(Godspell), Carly Hughes (Pippin, Beautiful), Corey Mach (Hands on a Hardbody, Godspell), Lesli Margherita (Matilda the Musical), Chelsea Packard(Hands on a Hardbody, Wicked), Kyle Post (Kinky Boots, Spider-Man Turn off the Dark), Ciara Renée (Pippin, Big Fish), Gabrielle Reid (Beautiful, Hairspray), Kate Rockwell (Rock of Ages, Legally Blonde), Mike Schwitter (Pippin, Book of Mormon),Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde, Cabaret) Anita Welch (Avenue Q), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia) andNatalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture).

"Broadway Sings P!NK", produced and directed by Corey Mach (Hands on a Hardbody, Wicked, Godspell), included cover songs to celebrate the legend's iconic, theatrical songs, including "Sober", "Just Like a Pill", "So What", and "Just Give Me a Reason". The music was orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

Pink has released seven albums since 2000, selling more than 51 million copies and 95 million singles worldwide. She has received three Grammy Awards, a Brit Award, and six MTV Video Music Awards. In 2009, Billboard recognized Pink as the "Pop Song Artist of the Decade" and as "Woman of the Year" in 2013. VH1 also ranked her number 10 on their list of the 100 Greatest Women in Music.
