Rick McKay, the producer/director of Rick McKay's Broadway: The Golden Age Film Trilogy, just unveiled the last 25 minutes of the 2010 "Six Degrees of Marvin Hamlisch" benefit concert for Fran Liebergall, the original rehearsal pianist and Musical Supervisor of A CHORUS LINE. Watch footage of the event below!

Featured in the concert were Kelly Bishop, recreating her role of 'Sheila' in A CHORUS LINE, Carole Schweid, the original understudy for the role of 'Bebe', and Christina Saffran Ashford, one of the 'Maggie' replacements, performing "At the Ballet".

A CHORUS LINE's original 'Richie', Ron Dennis, sang "Gimme the Ball," and Donna McKechnie, the original 'Cassie' treated the audience to "Inside the Music", a rare, early version of "The Music and the Mirror."

Robert LuPone, the original 'Zach', introduced his fellow cast members Sammy Williams (original 'Paul'), Dennis, Bishop, McKechnie, Don Pippin (original Musical Director) and Priscilla Lopez (original 'Diana'). Mitzi Hamilton - who created the role of 'Val' in London - also joined the whole group and some young dancers to recreate "One".

At the end of the concert, Fran Liebergall came onstage, ushered in by a standing ovation, followed by Priscilla Lopez singing "What I Did for Love" surrounded by the rest of the original cast.

The event was to benefit Liebergall, who has been living with multiple sclerosis for many years. Click here to help fund her continued fight against the disease and ease her care!
