Kirsten Sheridan's 2007 film AUGUST RUSH starred Freddie Highmore as Evan Taylor aka 'August Rush', as well as Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams.

AUGUST RUSH follows Evan Taylor, the child of a cellist - Lyla - and the lead singer of The Connelly Brothers band - Louis -who share a one-night tryst that results in Lyla's pregnancy. Lyla's father secretly puts Evan up for adoption, while Lyla believes he died during his premature birth. Eleven years later, Evan, a musical prodigy, decides to run away from his orphanage to New York City to find his family. Lyla discovers her father's secret and sets out to find her son, while Louis, Evan's father, begins searching for Lyla. The three count on "following the music" to find one another.

SPIDER-MAN co-book writer Berger just released a "tell-all" book about the behind-the-scenes battle that took place during the development of the Broadway musical Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. Berger has also written Underneath the Lintel, Max and Ruby and The Wooden Breeks.

Mancina, who wrote the music for the AUGUST RUSH film, also wrote the music and lyrics for the original Broadway production of THE LION KING, for which he also acted as music producer. His other film composing credits include Planes, Imagine That, Camille, Brother Bear, Tarzan, Twister, Speed and more.
