The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department told the press Diamond was taken into custody for second-degree recklessly endangering safety, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.

Diamond stabbed another male patron before leaving the Grand Ave. Sloon around 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 25. A switchblade was recovered by police in the actor's vehicle the following day.

In Diamond's statement to the police, he said "there was a group of intoxicated people being rude and insulting" at the bar and that he intervened in an altercation between his girlfriend and another woman. He told authorities that he did not intentionally stab the man and that "chaos broke out and people were grabbing at him."

Diamond's girlfriend was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct before being released.

The victim was stabbed in the armpit, was treated and is recovering at home.

Diamond appeared in court this afternoon. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in jail. The actor has not yet entered a plea.

The actor has appeared off-Broadway in the off-Broadway SAVED BY THE BELL parody show BAYSIDE! THE MUSICAL.
