This brand new weekly open mic night is highly recommended for show-tune lovers, Broadway enthusiasts, "Gleeks", fans of Charles Nelson Reilly, and anyone who ever wanted to do their own dream ballet. Come join us and pay homage to the old Village Gate, a nightclub/theater that opened in the late 50's and premiered a number of Off-Broadway shows, including Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, in 1968!

Hosted by ultimate theater nerd Kevin Michael Murphy(If It Only Even Runs a Minute, Craig Stevens Guide to Making it on Broadway), with Caleb Hoyer on the keys, this weekly shindig features performances by fancy Broadway guests, all the latest showbiz gossip, and plenty of witty banter to boot! Come down, grab a cocktail, and why not belt out a few tunes? Sundays at 9:00 pm. Gallery Bar @ (Le) Poisson Rouge. Free admission.

Over the next couple months the party is celebrating the music of some of your favorite songwriting teams.

Januray 16th- the party is celebrating the music of Cy Coleman! Special guests Heather Dudenbostel, Molly McCarthy-Egan, and Russell Fischer(Jersey Boys).

We are also featuring the original music of Jake Brandman, performed by Jaclyn Huberman.

(le) Poisson Rouge is located at 158 Bleeker Street in Manhattan

Admission is free!
