Full Cast Set For Rose Theatre's AS YOU LIKE IT February 18- March 26

The Rose Theatre's first production of 2011 has now been fully cast. William Shakespeare's As You Like It will run from 18 February - 26 March, directed by Stephen Unwin.

The cast of As You Like It will be led by Georgina Rich as Rosalind. (Portia in the Royal Shakespeare Company's Merchant of Venice, Viola in English Touring Theatre's Twelfth Night, Baby in Dirty Dancing, West End).

David Sturzaker will play Orlando. (War and Peace, Shared Experience, Visiting Mr Green on tour, Future Me, Theatre 503 and four Shakespearean productions at the Globe).

Adrian Lukis will play Jaques. (Richard Greatham in Hay Fever at the Rose, Sir Robert Morton in The Winslow Boy at the Rose, The Philadelphia Story, Old Vic, The Front Page, Chichester. Mr Wickham in the BBC series Pride and Prejudice).

Phoebe Fox will play Celia. (A Month in the Country, Chichester). Phoebe graduated from RADA in 2010.

Paul Shelley will play Duke Senior and Duke Frederick. (A Voyage Round my Father, Salisbury Playhouse, Macbeth Chichester, West End and New York, The Merchant of Venice, West End).

Michael Feast will play Touchstone. (A Month in the Country, Chichester, The Ones That Flutter, Theatre 503, A Plague Over England, Gielgud).

Also in the cast are Rod Arthur, Ravi Aujla, Shango Baku, Msimisi Dlamini, Georgia Maguire, Okezie Morro, Claire Prempeh, William Tapley and Leon Williams.

As You Like It will be directed by Stephen Unwin, the Artistic Director of the Rose. His recent productions include Hay Fever, Miss Julie, A Christmas Carol and The Winslow Boy. Stephen founded ETT in 1993 and directed many productions of new and classical work for the company both on tour and in the West End. In 2003, Stephen won the Sam Wanamaker Shakespeare's Globe Award with ETT. Stephen has written a number of books on the theatre including A Pocket Guide to Shakespeare's Plays with Kenneth McLeish.

Set and costume design is by Jonathan Fensom, lighting design by Mike Gunning, sound design by John Leonard, music by Corin Buckeridge and fights & movement by Kev McCurdy.
