Ronnie Cohen and Jane Beale present a special staged reading of their new play Witnessed by the World tonight, October 15, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Jewel Box @ The Workshop Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, New York City. Refreshments will be served.

In 1963, a hand was dealt the world involving two "Jacks." Now, 50 years later, an investigative reporter's association with two young filmmakers leads her to new facts about Jack Ruby – the executioner's executioner. Will she shed light on the greatest conspiracy or plunge the world deeper into darkness?

Cast includes: Ian Bell, Fiona Choi, Paula Ewin, Leo Farley, Todd Gearhart, Todd Licea, Arnie Mazer, Rebecca Smith, and Ryann Weir. Presentation directed by Renee Rodriguez assisted by Raisa Kelly.

Ronnie Cohen and Jane Beale wrote the screenplay - with Richard Atkinson - for the award winning film, Dog's Lie, about what dreams may come when secrets are revealed at a sleep clinic; and the stage play, Correction, (recently nominated for two Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival awards) about a woman messing with our heads by masquerading as a Park Avenue Psychiatrist. Witnessed sprinkles a heavy dose of fact on their usual witty banter and hairpin plot twists.
