Musician, actor and New York Times Best-Selling Author, Rick Springfield will take his acclaimed "Stripped Down" solo acoustic show to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, February 26, at 8 p.m.

Springfield, who has sold 25 million albums to date, was launched to international stardom with his smash hit and Grammy Award-winning, "Jessie's Girl" and many more including "Don't Talk to Strangers", "An Affair of the Heart", "I've Done Everything for You", "Love Somebody" and "Human Touch". His most recent release, Songs for the End of the World (2012), is jam packed with personal lyrics and catchy hooks that demonstrate an evolution in the songwriter's depth. Rick Springfield the actor is known as Dr. Noah Drake on the daytime drama General Hospital. He has had a stint in musical theatre as a member of the original Broadway cast of the Tony Award-nominated Smokey Joe's Café. He will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, for his contributions to music.
