Raul Esparza & Katie Finneran to Announce Outer Critics Circle Nominations Next Month

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, has announced that multi-award-winning stars Raúl Esparza and Katie Finneran will announce the nominees for the 2014-15 season on Monday April 20th (11 AM) at The Friars Club (57 East 55th Street- between Park and Madison Avenues.) Outer Critics Circle will post award nominations in 24 categories and are the first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season.

Multiple award winner Raúl Esparza was last seen on Broadway in Leap Of Faith. He currently plays ADA Rafael Barba on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." Raul received an Outer Critics Circle Award for Company. Currently starring in It's Only a Play, Tony Award winner Katie Finneran was previously seen on Broadway as Miss Hannigan in Annie. She received an Outer Critics Circle Award for Promises, Promises and Noises Off.

Celebrating its 65th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater, the Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.

The winners will be announced on Monday, May 11th. The annual Gala Awards Dinner and presentation of awards to the winners will be held on Thursday, May 21st (4PM) at the legendary Sardi's Restaurant.
