Random Access Theatre presents William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, set in Macao during its Golden Age in the 17th Century as a Portuguese colony and trading post in southeastern China. Shakespeare's witty comedy takes on a new life with a culturally diverse cast and a vivid Chinese/Portuguese inspired design concept. Adapter Jessica Ko and Director Casey Cleverly explode this beloved play to comment on power, race, colonialism, and sex in a wickedly funny and visually striking adaptation.

The production runs two weekends, tonight, June 6 through June 17 at the Hartley House in Hells Kitchen and First Street Green in the East Village, with a remounting for Random Access Theatre's anticipated return to Brooklyn Bridge Park's Bard on Pier 1 series the weekend of June 28-30.

Featuring: Jessica Ko, Jeff Dickamore, Andreas Damm, Jen Tsay, Rachel Lin, Holly Chou, Keith Panzarella, Tristan Schaffer-Goldman, Joseph Thornhill, Paul Notice, Leo Giannopoulos, and Sean Devare.
