According to the Toronto Star, LES MISERABLES will soon be heading back to Toronto in the 2013-2014 Mirvish season. Aiming for a September 2013 opening, the show will reportedly feature West End star Ramin Karimloo as 'Jean Valjean'- a role that he previously played on the London stage.

Karimloo is best known for his roles as the Phantom and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, Jean Valjean and Marius in LES MISERABLES, Chris in Miss Saigon, and originating the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies. He additionally partook in both the 25th anniversary concerts of Les Miserables (Enjolras) and The Phantom of the Opera (the Phantom).

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, LES MISERABLES tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption-a timeless Testament to the survival of the human spirit. Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for Decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.
