"Cinderella," the Little Theatre's annual holiday spectacular for all ages, opens on Friday and runs through December 20. The following production is "Stick Fly," which opens on Friday, January 15, and is intended for adult audiences.

"Stick Fly" is the area premier of Lydia Diamond's 2008 play, which ran on Broadway in 2011, produced by Alicia Keys, Nelle Nugent and Reuben Cannon. The affluent, African-American LeVay family is gathering at their Martha's Vineyard home for the weekend, and brothers Kent and Flip have each brought their respective ladies home to meet the parents. As the two newcomers butt heads over issues of race and privilege, longstanding tensions bubble under the surface and reach a boiling point when secrets are revealed. "Stick Fly" is directed by Karen Dacons-Brock, who last directed "Caroline, or Change" at RLT in 2014.

As part of RLT's increased dedication to accessibility there will be two special performances during "Cinderella." The showing on Sunday, December 6th at 1pm will be American Sign Language interpreted, and the Sunday, December 13th at 5pm show will be audio described by Arts Access. Additionally, all performances in the Sutton Theatre are now able to be enjoyed by people with hearing loss through the hearing loop system. The performance of "Stick Fly" on Sunday, January 24th at 3pm will be audio described.

"Cinderella" runs December 4-20 in the Cantey V. Sutton Theatre. "Stick Fly" runs January 15-31, 2016, in the Gaddy-Goodwin Theatre. The production sponsor for "Cinderella" is Coastal Federal Credit Union, and Thomas, Judy & Tucker, PA is the opening night sponsor. The production sponsor for "Stick Fly" is Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, and the media sponsor is the Triangle Tribune.

Tickets for all events at RLT can be purchased by calling the box office (919)-821-3111, Monday through Friday, noon to 5:00 p.m., or by visiting the theatre's website at www.raleighlittletheatre.org.
