According to Billboard, Robin Thicke, the pop artist behind the mega-hit "Blurred Lines", is scheduled to perform before the Los Angeles Dodgers' second game in their three game-series against the San Francisco Giants on April 5th. The singer will not only perform three songs prior to the game, but will also throw out the first pitch. The pre-game event will be open to all fans with a ticket to the game.

"Born and raised in Los Angeles, I have been a Dodger fan my whole life," Thicke told The Hollywood Reporter, adding that he is "very excited to help bring in what we all hope will be a championship season."

The Dodgers in turn are estatic to highlight Thicke as well; "Blurred Lines" is quite the team favorite in the clubhouse.

"Robin and the Dodgers are a perfect combination," explained Steve Berman, vice chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M, the label which is partnering with the Dodgers for Thicke's very first concert in a major league baseball stadium. "A quintessentially L.A. musician meets a quintessentially L.A. team. We're thrilled to have this opportunity, and Robin is going to light up Chavez Ravine. Live. Breathe. Blu-rred Lines!!"

Thicke will begin in his upcoming North American tour on Feburary 25th at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
