RILLA OF GREEN GABLES Cast Album Released, Featuring Music of Berlin and Kern

The new musical RILLA OF GREEN GABLES, which features songs by Irving Berlin and Jerome Kern, premiered last year to glowing audience reviews and has recently released an original cast album. The show received first runner-up in the Best Original/New Work category of the reader-selected BroadwayWorld Salt Lake City Awards.

The 24-track cast album is a studio recording of the original world premiere cast, starring Jennifer Ellis as Rilla Blythe. It features all the songs from the show, as well as a never-before-heard bonus track. The album is now available on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google Play, Spotify, and more.

RILLA OF GREEN GABLES is based on the beloved Anne of Green Gables novels by Lucy Maud Montgomery. The timeless score features songs of the period by renowned composers Irving Berlin (ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, WHITE CHRISTMAS) and Jerome Kern (SHOW BOAT, SWING TIME), freshly arranged and orchestrated by Charles Dail Nielson.

As her sweetheart and brother leave to fight in World War I, Anne's daughter, Rilla, embarks on her own emotional journey at home that teaches her the importance of selflessness and sacrifice, changing her life forever. Touching, uplifting, and romantic!
