Following a successful run in The Midtown Children's Musical Theater Festival, RAPUNZARELLA WHITE will re-open at 13th Street Repertory Theater (50 West 13th St. between 5th & 6th Ave) beginning today, January 24th and will run Saturdays at 11am and 1pm through May 9th, 2015. Written by June Rachelson-Ospa (Triangle, currently at 13th St. Rep) and Daniel Neiden (Tempest-The Musical at Cherry Lane Theater). RAPUNZARELLA WHITE is directed by Neiden and is presented by Bozomoon Productions. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by visiting www.13thstreetrep.org or calling OvationTix at 212-352-3101.

"Mixing some Bullwinkle with some Carol Burnett," RAPUNZARELLA WHITE follows three baby triplets, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Snow White that are kidnapped by an angry witch. Each Princess is catapulted into her own fractured fairy tale, awaiting rescue by their own personal, bumbling and, of course, musical, Prince.

RAPUNZARELLA WHITE features live music, and stars Marlain Angelides, Matthew Cohen, Brandon Duncan, Brent Hildreth, Lorelei Mackenzie, Schuyler Midgett, Alia Munsch, and Mark Singer. The creative team includes: Charles Czarnecki (Musical Director); Derek Bado (Stage Manager); Veronica Paredes (Stage Manager) and Noriko Sunamoto (Piano).

When asked about what makes this a "fairly fractured tale" Neiden said, "June came up with an utterly fresh and comic take on the 'Princess-waiting-for-Prince' story, and we ran with it. Each song shows a zany frustration that pushes the show forward: Rapunzel craves junk food, Cinderella has self-esteem issues, and Snow White is allergic to apples."
