Downtown Easton creative studio Mercantile Home will present Hedda Lettuce in LETTUCE REJOICE: A Holiday Tradition, at the Acopian Ballroom inside The State Theatre at 453 Northampton Street on Friday, December 9th at 9pm.

Presented as part of the Mercantile Distinctive Music Series, nationally acclaimed drag performer Hedda Lettuce, "The Queen of Green", will perform an evening of comedy and music celebrating the holiday season.

"LETTUCE REJOICE has become a holiday tradition in downtown Easton for the past three years and a 'must see' event in NYC every holiday season for over a decade. The show changes each year with fresh, new, naughty material delivered in a way that only Miss Lettuce can," laughs Mercantile Home co-owner Ron Morris. "We are thrilled to bring LETTUCE REJOICE back to downtown Easton. Hedda is one of the most popular performers in our Distinctive Music Series. The Acopian Ballroom at The State Theatre makes a perfect environment to experience this hilarious night of holiday comedy."


The self proclaimed "Queen of Green", Hedda Lettuce, has established herself as New York City's premiere drag queen. Her television appearances include Sex and the City, The Tyra Banks Show, Project Runway, The MTV Awards, Ugly Betty, and The Dave Chapelle Show, as well as the films Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything...., and Go Go Crazy. Her live show has been seen in classic New York City cabaret venues such as Caroline's on Broadway, FEZ, and The Metropolitan Room. Mixing a unique brand of biting comedy and live singing has earned Miss Lettuce a large, loyal following and accolades in numerous publications including: The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Advocate.

The Mercantile Distinctive Music Series brings outstanding established and emerging musical artists to various downtown Easton venues. Previous performers have included Kishi Bashi, Ari Hest, Tall Tall Trees, The Humble Grapes, Sonya Kitchell and the Brooklyn Strings, Decembersongs, and Judy Collins.

Tickets for Hedda Lettuce in LETTUCE REJOICE are available at Mercantile Home and online at www.mercantilehome.com. Tickets are $26 for General Admission and $150 for VIP Tables. Seating is limited. This show is for Mature Audiences only. Audience members must be over 18 years old to attend. The Acopian Ballroom is located in The State Theatre at 453 Northampton Street in downtown Easton. Mercantile Home is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11am - 8pm, and Sunday 11am - 6pm .
