On Friday April 10th Prohibition Productions will present an exclusive Antique Cocktail party celebrating the final season of the "Mad Men" TV show, and the 1960's - with live music, DJs, classic burlesque, go-go dancers, and more. The centerpiece of this special event, is a classic cocktail menu made with actual spirits from the 1960s used on the set of Mad Men - and its all at a beautiful & historic olde-world private club, The Players. The event is already selling briskly since the NY Times wrote about the event a week before tickets went on sale, or the event was even announced. Featured entertainment includes the AVALON JAZZ BAND who also performs at the official Mad Men premiere party in LA on March 25th. Additional live bands include MATTHEW PIAZZI AND THE DEBONAIRS playing 1950's & 1960's Doo Wop, 50's pop, Rhythm & Blues and Soul with vocalist Mr Piazzi who was also a Top 10 Finalist on "America's Got Talent." Additional performers include burlesque performer BUNNY BUXOM who will do a "Joan" striptease, vintage Go-Go dancers Miss Kacie Marie, and Sydney Sunrise, and dance troupe GABY GALORE & HER SUGAR SHAKERS with a Mad Men themed dance number.

The antique spirits being served were purchased directly from the props department of MAD MEN by Edgar Harden (Old Spirits Company) and used on the sets of the show. They are also all unopened bottles from the 1960s. The classic cocktail menu was designed based on the most frequent drinks observed on the show. In addition to these full-size cocktails, straight pours of select spirits will also be available neat or on the rocks.

VIP Tickets include one Antique drink of your choice. Antique drinks will also be available for purchase at the event, or in advance. We encourage guests to pre-order antique drinks while purchasing tickets as there are limited quantities of these rare and fine spirits. Our guest bartenders are from some of the finest cocktails bars in the country, and will be preparing each drink to your specifications. In addition to the Antique Bar, a full 'regular' bar will also be serving all night.

NEW YORK TIMES " GOING 'MAD' (1960s) - Madison Avenue has never been more in fashion thanks to the hit AMC series "Mad Men," and on April 10 the Salon is hosting a party dedicated to the show at the Player's Club... 'Imagine drinking a Manhattan made from 50-year-old rye,' mused Patrick Soluri, the event's organizer." http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/01/travel/5-ways-to-time-travel-and-party-in-new-york.html?_r=0 FLAVORPILL "Five days after the premiere of Mad Men's final season, vintage fete The Salon throws a bash likely to be the most envied of all the send-off parties for the show. Through some dark magic they got their hands on the unopened antique 1960s booze bottles used as props on set, and since the actors didn't drink any of it, there's more than enough for a full night of Draper-worthy cocktails. Bartenders from Death & Co and Clover Club serve up the characters' favorites, including Don's Old Fashioned and Betty's vodka Gimlet. Live French jazz from the band playing the show's LA premiere party and burlesque by NYC's finest are the olive on the martini of a perfect night." http://flavorpill.com/nyc/event/parties/salon-mad-men
