Playwright Max Weine Dies at 89

Playwright Max G. Weine passed away on Saturday, December 18 in New York, according to Variety. He was 89 years old. Weine died from Parkinson's disease complications and prostate cancer.  He leaves no survivors.

A member of the Dramatists Guild, Weine gradutated from Rutgers University with a degree in dramatic writing. He received a full scholarship to the Gene Frankel Workshop.

His writting credits include Off-Broadway's  The Love of Two Hours and Brandy Before Breakfast. Additional credits include Appetites, Mixed Doubles and A Touch of Intimacy.
