Michelle Federer (Wicked's Original Broadway Nessarose) spent Sunday, September 19th, mentoring the young talent of Broadway's future as she led a Wicked-themed master class with Broadway Artists Alliance of New York City. Federer inspired, as she skillfully guided a master class in "Song Interpretation" to a group of eager and talented young performers ages 10 to 21. Students also spent time on cold readings and scene study utilizing scenes from Wicked. Michelle's morning class was followed by an advanced audition technique workshop with a top casting representative from Telsey and Co. Casting.
 
Federer has also been a long time guest master class instructor at Broadway Artists Alliance's acclaimed Winter and Summer Intensives.
 
Broadway Artists Alliance is the dynamic educational organization that is quickly gaining a reputation for ensuring the future of great Broadway talent by bringing together current Broadway artists and promising young performers ages 10 to 21.
 
BAA's Fall One Day Master Class series will continue with a special "TV/Film" Master Class on Sunday, October 17th, led by top New York TV casting directors and the staff of Broadway Artists Alliance. Additional upcoming master classes include classes in the theme of Pop/Rock Musicals (November 14th), Billy Elliot (December 18th), and a Disney themed Master Class (December 19th). Broadway Artists Alliance will also host their annual Advanced Musical Theatre Winter Workshop February 19-21, 2011 as well as their popular Summer Intensive Programs and College/Professional workshops in July and August of 2011. Participation is by audition only.
