Following their sold out run of Richard II, Sonnet Repertory Theatre presents Twelfth Night at The Theatre at St. Clement's this July. Director Michael Lluberes brings a new vision of Twelfth Night to the Sonnet Rep stage. By turns sad and hilarious, this Twelfth Night is an exploration of love in all its forms: obsessive, beautiful, sexy, manic and mad.

Sonnet Repertory Theatre's mission is dedicated to classic theatre for the modern planet. As a non-profit organization, SRT seeks to promote classic theatre to a contemporary audience by producing insightful and relevant interpretations, while also providing diverse and challenging creative opportunities.

Director Michael Lluberes brings a multitude of experience to the production. Writing/Directing credits include: The Boy in the Bathroom (2007 New York Musical Theatre Festival, NYMF awards: The Microsoft/HealthVault Most Promising New Musical Award, Best Book, Honorable Mention: Best Direction, Anna Sosenko Trust Award, Richard Rodgers Award Finalist, ASCAP/Disney Musical Theatre Workshop with Stephen Schwartz), The Geranium on the Windowsill Just Died (Urban Stages), 1,000 Cats (UCB, HBO's Funny Or Die Presents), Lincoln Center Theatre Director's LaB. Michael's acting credits include the National Tour of Dirty Dancing, as well as numerous Off-B'way, regional and television credits including: American Dreams: Lost and Found, Pudd'nhead Wilson, As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew (The Acting Company, Lucille Lortel), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Sonnet Rep) Twelfth Night (Cincinnati Playhouse, St. Louis Rep); "Chappelle's Show" and "Tough Crowd" (Comedy Central).

Original music is created by Ben Toth, a film and theatre composer, producer, and musical director. He is currently composing the score for Patrimony, a short film starring Oscar-nominee Robert Vaughn and Tony-nominee Melissa Errico. Ben just finished writing the score for the full-length feature One Fall, produced by Independent Spirit Award-winner Dean Silvers. He is developing a musical with and for Mandy Patinkin, centering on New York's controversial master-builder Robert Moses. Ben recently completed a new album for Melora Hardin ("The Office"), working as co-producer with Richard Jay-Alexander (director for Barbra Streisand), which had its national release in February 2010.

Assistant Director, Anna Strasser, is currently an assistant at Laura Stanczyk Casting, where she helped cast Ragtime and Lombardi for Broadway as well as projects for the McCarter, Kennedy Center, Wilma Theater, and Alley Theatre, among others. She previously worked with Marc Bruni as his assistant on both Glimpses of the Moon (Algonquin Hotel) and High Spirits (York Theatre).

Set design is by Seth Easter (The Boy in the Bathroom and September 19 at Via Dance Collaborative; The Geranium in the Window Sill Just Died at Urban Stages; Television: "The Apprentice" live season finale, The Tony Awards, We Are One Inauguration of Barack Obama at The Lincoln Memorial, the Democratic and Republican Presidential debates on ABC News), Lighting design is by Brad Peterson (Seussical! At The Weston Playhouse Theater Co., the North American tour of Stand Up Eight, The Merry Widow at Amore Opera), Sound Design is by Janie Bullard (The Last Five Years & Broadway By the Year at Berkshire Theatre Festival) and costume design is by Ryan Park. E. Sara Barnes (production stage manager), Kevin Lock (associate set designer), Melissa Nathan (stage manager), Henry Williamson (assistant director) and MiChelle Davis (props coordinator) round out the production team.

Sonnet Repertory Theatre is headed up by Co-Artistic Directors Tiffany Little Canfield (Casting Director at Telsey + Company in New York City with credits that include: Baz Luhrmann's production of Puccini's La Boheme on Broadway, the films Dan in Real Life, Julie Taymor's Across the Universe, Sex and the City (both films), the ABC Pilot Ugly Betty and many Broadway shows and commercials) and Todd Loyd (numerous on and off Broadway credits as actor, director and everything in-between include: the Broadway productions of La Boheme, The Color Purple; works at The Kennedy Center, The Eugene O'Neill Playwright's Conference, Lincoln Center Institute, Cedar Lake Dance, PCPA Theaterfest, The Belt Theatre; such festivals as NYMF and NAMT).
