From the creative team that brought you "Cinderella," the beloved story of "Sleeping Beauty" is brought to life anew by some of Maui's best performers. Nine actors play all the roles in this "fractured fairy tale" musical version of the classic Grimm Brothers tale. The musical is complete with a beautiful princess, a handsome prince with a magic sword, a doting King and Queen and their story-telling assistant, a wise-cracking vulture, a psychic frog, good fairies to bring a happy ending, and one really bad fairy to make things difficult! Audience members are seated right next to the stage for a surround-theatre experience. Recommended for family audiences: kids, parents, and grandparents will all enjoy this wacky new version of the beloved tale! After the performance, the audience is invited to meet the characters one-on-one, completing this magical theatrical event.
